Crohn’s & Colitis UK

Crohn’s & Colitis UK are a charity very close to our hearts and it’s been an honour to support the team to recruit a number of new Trustees to their board and Young Adult’s Panel.

This indiscriminate disease has affected multiple members of our family over the last 15 years and we are incredibly passionate about the life-saving work and campaigns that they have been behind.

As part of our pro bono work, Crohn’s and Colitis UK were our Charity partner this year and we launched a campaign to recruit four new Trustees to their Board.

Alongside this campaign, we also supported the team to recruit new members of their Young Adults Advisory Panel; an instrumental network of individuals with lived experience of the cause.

Throughout both of these campaigns, it was imperative that our reach was geographically diverse, attracting individuals throughout all of the UK who could bring a variety of different lived experiences, skills and attributes to the panel.

The applications we received were absolutely outstanding, as was the commitment, passion and determination shown by everybody who gave up their time to apply for these opportunities.

The toughest part of our search was not finding the talented individuals needed for the role but in fact, deciding on the final shortlist as the quality of applicants was so very high.

The commitment, time and attention shown by the CEO, support team, young adult volunteers and the board ensured that both projects were a huge success and the process was smooth, seamless and enjoyable.

We’ve now onboarded 9 new individuals who are excited to get started and we wish everyone a fantastic onward journey with the Crohn’s and Colitis team. We know we’ll be seeing great things in the future!
